The Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association is dedicated to serving its membership through education, public awareness and government representation. The Association promotes the delivery of quality foot care and provides representa- tion to healthcare agencies and national podiatric organizations.

The Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association is dedicated to serving its membership through education, public awareness and government representation. The Association promotes the delivery of quality foot care and provides representation to healthcare agencies and national podiatric organizations.

OVERALL GOAL OF THE STRATEGIC PLAN

To insure that CPMA continues to be the leading professional organization and unifying force in the field of podiatric medicine and surgery in Connecticut.

STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

Public Awareness:
CPMA will increase the public's awareness and understanding of the full scope of podiatric medicine and surgery and will further the recognition of CPMA members as the physicians of choice to provide such care.

Public/Private Policy:
CPMA will be the leading voice and major catalyst in influencing public and private policy affecting the future of podiatric medicine and surgery in Connecticut.

Membership Involvement:
CPMA will work to ensure the future vitality of the field of podiatric medicine and surgery and the Association through a heightened commitment to students and young professionals and an overall diversification of membership and leadership.

Organization:
CPMA will evolve its organization and governance and leverage its collaborative relationships, enhancing CPMA's role as the unifying force for the field.

Career Development:
CPMA will play a leadership role in career development and facilitate the direction of an integrated education agenda for the podiatric medical profession.
