APMA Joins Collaborative to Counter Opioid Epidemic

APMA is among 100+ organizations that have joined the National Academy of Medicine's Action Collaborative on countering the US opioid epidemic. APMA is committed to providing members with up-to-date information on substance use disorders, opioid misuse and abuse, and the patient-centered approach to acute and chronic pain management. Read APMA's full commitment statement.

Be sure to take advantage of APMA's Opioid Use and Abuse Prevention resources, a member benefit to help podiatrists in addressing this epidemic and ensuring compliance with any federal or state requirements and/or guidelines. Are you struggling with addiction? See APMA's Physician Well-Being Resources to get help.
